Another road trip, ladies. This time it’s Petawawa. Kick-off is at 1:30 p.m., so we’ll meet at 9:10 a.m. for carpooling at the parking lot across from UOttawa sports complex. We will be leaving at 9:30 sharp. Don’t forget your snacks, water and gas money for drivers. And, after the game, we’re all invited to Alexx Z’s place for a team social event.
This Saturday we will travel to Cornwall for our first road trip. Kick-off is at 12:00 p.m., so we’ll meet at 8:10 a.m. for carpooling at the parking lot across from UOttawa sports complex. We will be leaving at 8:30 sharp, so be on time. Bring lots of good snacks for the trip and lots of water for the game. Don’t forget your gas money for drivers.
Watch this space for info on our Canada Day face-painting fundraiser! We usually meet downtown and set up in a couple of places (morning and afternoon shifts). Paint, brushes and maple leaf stencils provided! More details to follow… 
Our away game, July 7th will need to change from the originally scheduled start time of 1:30. We’re hoping to get a 3:00 p.m. start, but would like to know if that’s going to work for everyone. As the home side, our opponent will have the last word on it, but we’ll express our preference based on availability. We thought we could go for a pre-game road lunch before the game. Sound good? It’s going to be a hot, humid practice on Thursday, so bring lots of water. We’ll be in game-prep mode, so we need to work exta hard on focus and intensity. It’s going to be a great weekend, so let’s get ready! If you haven’t let us know your availability, please do so asap.
Cornwall/Brockville @ Coven, Twin Elm, 12:00 p.m. kick-off. Meet today at 10:15. We’re shifting the meeting place to the parking lot across the street from the UOttawa Sports complex (still King Edward and Mann Ave.) Rain expected all day, so bring dry clothes for after the game and a garbage bag to keep your stuff dry.

Hope to see everyone out at practice on Tuesday (6-8pm at the field behind St Paul U @ 175 Main St). Hilary will be there with registration forms and other handy info if you haven’t picked that up yet and/or paid your membership dues!
